New International Business Director for JCC

JCC, one of the UK’s leading lighting manufacturers, has appointed Dani Lopez as International Business Director, as part of the company’s global strategy.

Based at a new JCC office in Paris, France, Dani will have responsibility for developing a sales and marketing strategy in Europe, Scandinavia, Africa and South America and oversee the existing JCC business in the Middle East.  In addition, Dani will be part of the product development team, working with JCC’s design team in the UK, and manufacturing partners across the globe, on product ideas and innovations.  

Dani has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, and joins the JCC team from Havells Sylvania where he held the position of General Manager MEA. Previous to Havells Sylvania, Dani was Export Director at Thorn Lighting.   

Dani summed up his new role by saying:  
“I am really excited by the new challenges that this roles brings.  Having lived in the Middle East for a number of years I’ve developed a good understanding of the way their culture works.  This coupled with experience of managing sales throughout the world, I believe, will be beneficial to JCC as it sets to expand sales globally.”

Dave Dawkins, Managing Director said, “We are delighted to add Dani to our management team. This appointment strengthens and underlines our ambitions to grow sales in areas outside of the UK and fits perfectly with our global positioning plan.”
