Switch to low energy the easy way

Lighting manufacturer, JCC Lighting, has launched a new catalogue dedicated purely to low energy lighting products. Featuring over 20 new products, plus some from our existing ranges that have been redesigned to bespoke low energy, the catalogue is a must-have for contractors, wholesalers and end users.

With over 100 pages of products and information, JCC makes it easy to make the switch to low energy lighting that satisfies the latest building regulations and energy saving directives. This easy to use catalogue has been created as a one stop shop for energy saving products. By using the latest lamp technologies it is possible to cut energy bills and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

New low energy products include the 11W and 15W Fireguard Matrix. It features the Megaman compact fluorescent lamp (CFL), and achieves a minimum of 40 lumens per watt, making it JCC’s most efficient Fireguard fitting to date.

Other new products include the contemporary Cristillo bathroom range. This new design incorporates two wall mounted luminaires that are neatly connected by a smart toughened glass shelf. The kit includes all the necessary fixings and accessories for ease of installation. The G9 lampholders are suitable for Megaman’s new 7Watt CFL. This new lamp boasts high lumen output from such a very low wattage, and the self ballasted electronics ensure long life and flicker free performance.

Also for the home is the stunning Diaz triple plate spotlight. This new contemporary spotlight range incorporates the new 11W GU10 CFL from Megaman. The lamp and profile of the fitting are dedicated so this ensures the luminaire meets specific areas of part L compliance. Additional features include sensors that detect body movement, and it’s available in two styles of heads, and finishes of brushed nickel, chrome or white to suit any domestic application.

Other new products include LED light kits for kickboards and kitchen applications, outdoor step and spotlights, semi-commercial bollards and a Fireguard twist and lock converter plate. This new addition to the popular Fireguard range is a fire-rated product that replaces and upgrades old incandescent luminaire fixtures.

A key feature of all the low energy fittings is that they are not retrofit, ensuring JCC’s products comply with Part L of the building regulations. Each fitting in this catalogue is built to take a specific lamp type, so an incandescent or halogen equivalent lamp cannot be used in the fitting.
