As part of the strategy for ambitious growth, leading lighting manufacturer JCC Lighting is proud to welcome Steve Kirby to the position of Commercial Director.
With a broad experience gained from 12 years in the lighting industry, Steve has held a number of senior management roles and has an in depth knowledge of the wholesale, retail and specification sectors. His appointment comes as part of a series of organisation changes within JCC in order to better manage the company’s development.
Responsibilities involve sales and marketing in all the geographical areas JCC operates in, including UK, Ireland, China, Dubai, and Italy, with plans to expand into Australasia later this year.
“I’m delighted to accept this position within JCC”, said Steve Kirby. “JCC is the fastest growing lighting company in the UK, one that is developing its products and logistics offerings, and I’m looking forward to the challenges that inevitably will arise. Having been in the lighting industry for a number of years, I’ve got a secure knowledge of what works and what doesn’t, and I can now bring that experience to JCC and be part of the next phase in the company’s future.”
Dave Dawkins, managing director of JCC added “This appointment is a natural progression for the company and the start of another chapter in JCC’s story. Over the past ten years, JCC has changed a lot - the company has grown and is continuing to grow, and so the organisation needs to develop with it. Steve is joining a strong team here at JCC, and his understanding of the sectors in which we operate will be invaluable in this new role, and I’m looking forward to having him on board.” Steve was previously sales and marketing director of SLI UK.
